ROME OPEN CITY (1945)

It is 1944 and Rome is occupied. Giorgio Manfredi, the head of the resistance, tries to escape the Nazis. He takes refuge in the house of a friend whose fiancée, Pina, puts him in touch with the priest of the parish of Don Pietro. But Manfredi’s mistress will betray them all to the Germans.
