With Patrick Clervoy, Charles Palant, Haïm Korsia, Laurent Hamida, Yohann Douady, Jean Pierre Perrin, Éric Bouvet
Documented and illustrated from archives of conflicts past and present, La liberté nous aime encore, looks back over the history of men who risked their lives to defend, care for or bear witness to the lives of others. Soldiers, war reporters, army psychiatrists, military chaplains are all confronted with the battles, brutality and melancholy of the world, and its destruction. They speak eloquently of today’s dramas. The stories of their lives, their hopes, their deceptions and their commitments fill the film which focuses on the concepts of “humanity” and “inhumanity”.
