Born in Paris in 1985, fascinated by images and drawing, Denis Do graduated from the Gobelins School of Images in 2009. His graduation film Le Ruban, which he co-directed, confirmed his love of the cinema. His narratives, steeped in his triple Franco-Sino-Cambodian culture, are personal and strong. They place the story of one person within the larger frame, with simple and realistic visuals. His first feature film Funan is inspired by the life of his mother. |
