With Joanna Kulig, Tomasz Kot, Agata Kulesza, Borys Szyc
A musician in love with freedom and a young passionate singer meet in the ruins of post-war Poland. Everything would seem to push them apart: their past, their temperament, their character, their political ideas, each one’s imperfections and the inevitable twists of fate, and yet they are inexorably destined to be together. Between Stalinist Poland and the bohemian Paris of the 1950s, theirs is an impossible love story in tormented times.
